Key Signings

Motherwell FC announced the acquisition of four players ahead of the 2025/26 Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) campaign. The signings include Amy Bulloch, Milly Boughton, Keri Halliday and Sophie Townsley, all expected to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.

Bulloch Returns

Amy Bulloch, a lifelong Motherwell supporter, has returned to the club after a stint with Partick Thistle, where she was named Player of the Year. She previously played for Motherwell in 2019 and is set to re-join the team for the new campaign.

Other Additions

Milly Boughton, an Australian youth international, has departed the defending champions to join Iain Robinson’s side during the winter transfer window. Keri Halliday, a Northern Irish international forward, has become a marquee addition for Iain Robinson’s side, arriving in Scotland with a prolific goalscoring record in her homeland. Sophie Townsley, an SWPL2 Player of the Year nominee, has completed a loan deal from Rangers until the end of the season.

The signings are expected to boost Motherwell’s chances in the forthcoming campaign.
